LOGLINE: A troubled teenager, Mike, abandoned by his father is destroyed by peer pressure. With his fathers return, will he find his way back to the top?

SHAUN T BENJAMIN

ACTOR/WRITER/DIRECTOR/PRODUCER

SHAUN T. BENJAMIN has written, produced and directed a number of feature films including the film noir thriller “HINDSIGHT”, which won Best Director and Best Actor at the AFFMA international film festival in L.A.

​

Shaun has starred in over twenty features, his recent credits include “Even Money” with Kim Basinger, Ray Liotta, Forest Whittiker and Danny Devito directed by Mark Rydell and “Behind the Candelabra” with Michael Douglas and Matt Damon, directed by Steven Soderberg.

​

Shaun has acted as the lead in several theater productions and is a lifetime member of The Actors Studio for 24 years.

MIKE COLEMAN

ACTOR/PRODUCER

MIKE COLEMAN is an American actor born and raised in Southern California. He started acting at the age of 10. He soon booked a lead role in a short dramatic film on his first audition at 11. The Casting Director, Jami Rudofsky, was so impressed by his emotional range that she introduced him to a very reputable agency and a manager.

​

Mike has been working hard ever since appearing in numerous independent shorts and features. He became the youngest member of The Actors Studio when he auditioned for the first time at 18, moderated by Martin Landau and Mark Rydell.

​

He soon realized his potential for filmmaking and established his own production company. He produced A Fighting Chance in which he plays the lead role of a teenager who loses himself under pressure and finally finds himself through a journey of self-discovery.

​

Mike’s next project “The Only Way” which he wrote and will be starring, directing and producing, is about a teenage boxer who fights to save his mother’s life. He intends to turn this short into a feature and shoot it next summer.

MELODY ANGEL

ACTOR/ CO-PRODUCER

MELODY ANGEL is an American actress born and raised in Southern California. She started acting at the tender age of 6 and discovered that she had an affinity with the art of acting and filmmaking. She soon started booking TV shows, national commercials, short films and features and decided to be home-schooled so she can spend a lot of time on what she really loves; acting.

 

 In middle school, she volunteered to make a short film on “Cleopatra” in her History class in order to boost up her grade from a B to an A and the teacher agreed. She wrote, cast, directed and produced this short 10-minute film starring herself as Cleopatra. The teacher was very impressed and granted her an A.

 

She co-produced A Fighting Chance with Mike Coleman and plays his sister as the second lead.  Melody’s next project “Follow Your Heart” which she wrote and will be starring, directing and producing is about a teenage girl who strives to fulfill all her mother’s desires but is it too late?

PAUL ZAMBRANO

COMPOSER/ SOUND DESIGNER

PAUL ZAMBRANO is a composer and sound designer from Delray Beach, Florida, and has been active in Los Angeles for the better half of 2016. 

​

He has worked on such films as 007: I Only Need One, directed by Matthew Salanoa, A Fighting Chance, directed by Shaun T. Benjamin,  Until Her, by Giancarlo Candia, as well as documentaries, and several other projects. 

​

Originally a classically-trained pianist, he has released two piano based albums, Expect Nothing, Distort Everything and A Final Word: This is the New Age

​

Paul earned his bachelors degree from Florida Atlantic University in commercial music with distinction, and was a recipient of the university's first annual Miklós Roza Scholarship for Film Scoring. 

​

Currently, Paul is working on Stuart Smith's feature film, Dirty Work, which is set for release in 2017. 

​

Paul has been nominated for Best Sound Design on 007: I Only Need One, by the Action on Film Festival.

KEITH HOLLAND

CINEMATOGRAPHER 

KEITH HOLLAND began his career as a visual-effects cameraman, working at Pinewood Studios in English.  He worked on a number major motion pictures, including, "Superman", "Moonraker" (James Bond), "The Keep", "Saturn 3", and "The Neverending Story".

​

Keith came to the U.S. and continued working on feature film including, "Dr. Doolittle", "Batman and Robin", and "Armageddon", and "Face Off".  He has worked on music videos for Janet Jackson, Journey, and Seal as well as a plethora of commercials.

​

As a Director of Photography, Keith has shot more than 35 feature and several documentaries.  

NICK ANTONYAN 

CO-PRODUCER/UNIT PRODUCTION MANAGER

NICK ANTONYAN  was born and raised in Los Angeles California.  He fell in love with film at the young age of 13, and parents supported his decision as a filmmaker.

 

His goal is to be a well-established producer, with aspirations to be an executive producer.

 

At 21, he started to produce for Armada, and Spinin Records. His most popular work was "Soldier" by Blasterjaxx, which he did just a few months ago.

 

Nick also learned business and numbers very well.  He currently owns part of Ekriptik supply Co, which is a skate company based out of LA. He continues to produce and create companies, to reach his film and entrepreneurial dreams.

 

Nick was recently one of the producers on the film "A Fighting Chance",  as he partnered with father and son duo Shaun T. Benjamin and Mike Coleman to bring this film to life.
